Hi, I’m Lilee Rogers! I’m a 23-year-old tutor born and raised on the Central Coast who grew up in the small town of Santa Margarita, California. I graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a bachelor’s degree in Communications and Elementary Education Studies. During my time at UCSB, I had the opportunity to work in two elementary classrooms, supporting 2nd and 4th grade students during math and reading groups. I loved being in the classroom and quickly fell in love with watching children learn, grow, and gain confidence in themselves. For the past 3.5 years, I’ve worked as a professional nanny, and I also volunteer with children’s ministry at my local church. My faith is the most important part of my life, and I love encouraging children and helping them grow in their relationship with Jesus. Outside of tutoring, I love to travel, explore new places, and live a life that balances spontaneity with a slower, more peaceful pace. I recently spent three months living in Australia and am always dreaming up my next adventure. Above all, I want to create a calm, encouraging space where children feel comfortable being themselves, enjoy learning, and grow at their own pace.
